At this point in time? Yeah, Ezra is better than Kylo. Of course we have no idea where either character is headed in the long run so things could easily change. They could completely screw up Ezra going forward and botch the whole thing, and Kylo could go on to be "reborn" as a true successor to Darth Vader or something completely different. But as it stands Ezra is the better character as of this writing.
