Omos' "free agency" was supposedly negotiated by MVP - he wanted him to be able to appear on both brands. Which begs the question of why they couldn't just have Heyman negotiate The Bloodline for both shows which seems to be who the networks both wanted anyway.
Ali and Dolph being free agents is kinda hilarious, not just because it makes them look unimportant but it effectively pigeonholes them further as guys who are just there to be a "hell of a hand", since they can presumably just be brought to any show and plugged in to have a solid match wherever but not do anything of substance.
