I'm never one to complain about stakes because I enjoy low-stakes shows where we do a lot of character work and "hanging out." But the stakes for some reason feel WAY too low in Obi-Wan given the players involved. It's fucking Darth Vader trying to get revenge on the mofo that turned him into stumps and burnt flesh and I feel like I'm watching episodes of Rebels.

It's a fun show, no doubt. And I'll watch an hour of Ewan McGregor every week since he's the man. But even with the badass inquisitors and Obi/Leia on the run in constant fear, there's somehow a galling lack of intensity and emotion.
