Paul "Triple H" Levesque spoke to the crowd about the situation and initially indicated that Nox had a broken leg, along with a broken heart over not being able to finish what she started. He said it would just be a bump in the road for her. Levesque later did an interview with espnW, noting that Nox was being taken to the hospital to determine the specifics of the injury.

"To come here tonight and be in a position to where, let me just say, it couldn't have been any more heartbreaking for her," Levesque said. "Emotionally, just couldn't have been any more heartbreaking. I don't know, at this point, what happened. She landed funky on a dive and hurt herself.

"The doctor looked at it and it was so painful at the point that he couldn't manipulate the disc to see if it was an ACL. So we have her headed over to the hospital now and check what it is."

Why do they have to beat it over our head that they’re doing good things? Can’t they just have a women’s revolution without telling us about it constantly? You’ll never be equal if you keep telling people you’re not equal.

You have to understand that it's just not how WWE does things. They want to promote how great they are and how evolutionary their ideas are. It's as much a narrative about legitimizing the company and showcasing how important what they are doing is as much as it's a storyline week to week. They are promoting themselves to stockholders to partners to licensees and to fans and if they can get Stephanie and Triple H over as these benevolent, crusading execs who are trying to take the company - and in this case, the women - into the future, then it builds them as much as everyone else. It's totally self-promotion, but if it helps WWE push their agenda, the company is going to be happy to do it, as would any other company, wrestling or otherwise. Sometimes, a lighter touch works better, but WWE doesn't do subtle.

Hulk Hogan’s apparent return to WWE:

“Before he died, Bruno Sammartino and I talked a lot about this issue of why WWE would even want Hogan back in…. I don’t know if it’s nostalgia or a feeling that they owe him or something. But to forgive him for what he said. Apparently, he was in his early to mid-50s when he said this, he was a grown man. And his use of the N word, it wasn’t just once, it was a number of times in that conversation, and in such a disparaging, condescending, racist tone… And everyone always talks about forgiveness. Well he’s been forgiven many times, for lying about steroids, for lying about drug use, just for lying in general. How many times do you forgive the guy?”

Some other sheet news includes:
  • Major League Wrestling announced both Pentagon Jr and Fenix have been pulled from their October 4th MLW Fusion tapings due circumstances beyond their control. Mexico's AAA promotion recently hinted both guys are very likely leaving the company after this month's TripleMania event.
  • According to PWI, it took about 19 minutes for ROH's MSG event to reach sold out status once tickets when on general sale. Observer reported last night's early sales were at 12,000 tickets sold.
  • According to the Observer, Wrestlemania 34 had around 59,900 paid tickets out of the 78,133 announced for the event's attendance.
  • In a "WWE Did You Know" type fact, WCW once considered the idea of having a wrestler named Spam Man as a way to get a sponsorship with Spam. https://twitter.com/JerseyAutentico/...81889549635584
  • Rumor going around the net is that Nikki Bella is currently dating someone within WWE's management. Supposedly Nikki was never actually interested in ever hooking back with Cena and has been keeping this relationship in a hush status for at least the past 2 months.
  • Also apparently an old rumor involving Randy Orton pulling out his wiener for the sole purpose of rubbing his hand on it before shaking someone's hands has recently started going around the net. Supposedly that was his way of greeting newly hired writers to the WWE.
