Memphis used to do it right. Everything was there infront of the people so they were involved throughout.



Live audiences spend most of the night paying for a view of a tv thats worse than what they would got at home.

I’d argue it’s gotten so much worse this decade. I went to the vast majority of the Bridgeport TV tapings from 2005-2011 and not once did I feel like I got ripped off. The most “talk-heavy” TV taping I was at was Raw 15th anniversary show and even then nobody minded because it was laden with surprise appearances in front of the crowd.

Plenty of wrestling and nearly all of the talking was in-ring in front of the audience, barely anything on the tron.
