The Professor and The Madman 4 out of 5 stars

I watched this on an airplane and loved it. It's about the making of the first English dictionary. Mel Gibson is a Scottish professor tasked with leading the charge on the first ever English Dictionary whilst Sean Penn plays an American doctor with mental problems and the only way that he seems to calm his psychosis is through rigorous research and work in aiding the development of the dictionary. The movie has good reviews and bad, it's not a "best picture" movie but I really enjoyed it. I keep thinking about it and the performances. Also it is a true story and that makes it really special.
