It serves a purpose of a lot of reasons. Most of the towns they run have arenas too small for a Raw/Smackdown/PPV. Plus it keeps their name around. The Indies all started because the WWE stopped running B and C shows in those towns. I love going to House Shows, even though I don't watch anymore. Sure, but guys like AJ Styles shouldn't be running that many dates. Leave that to the younger guys.
