Hell, a lot of things were rolled out into cartoons and toys that, by any actual stretch, shouldn't have been either one. I remember getting a Rambo playset as a child (right at the cusp of the whole "we HAVE to put orange tips on toy guns" thing) that was basically a toy gun, a toy knife, and a replica "jade" Buddha necklace. First Blood wasn't marketed to children. Neither was Part II. But toys like that were in place well before "The Force of Freedom" G.I.Joe knockoff cartoon was conjured. Robocop was a hot seller, and that was a R film.

It's a lot like the current thing where games like Call of Duty are "only to be sold to mature audiences", but in pretty much every multiplayer match, you'll hear some single-digit aged squeaker calling you the n-word. All the "mature" stuff is cool.

Anyway, this looks fun!
Maybe... but then again, there was ALSO the cartoon and toyline for another Troma property "Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes", and that had "killer" in the title with zero problems. Not saying it isn't possible, since censorship has always been this scattershot notion where you could ask how one thing made it onto a children's show at all, and another minor thing gets scratched from what is obstensibly an R rated movie because it goes "too far" beyond all the fucking and violence already there because someone objected to the word "moist" or somesuch (a great example is the devil's dick swinging in "This Is The End"... they intentionally put that in as a Trojan Horse attempt to get other jokes approved and that one cut because it was so far above and beyond, and to their surprise, nobody compained about Lucifer's penis.

In this case, I think it was more of the fact that there was a group instead of the individual. Better to sell multiple toys of Crusaders than a single toy of an Avenger.

Of course not. But you know what did? Nunchaku. So, that needs to be changed to a grappling hook inexplicably.
