Unlike when Raw does these sorts of shows and brings in an audience that is almost always the best number of the year, this audience total is just above the year-to-date average and actually below what SmackDown was doing on a regular basis in the lead-up to WrestleMania ...

This was also the first week since June 12 that SmackDown's ratings increased year-over-year.

Orton said "100 percent" when he was asked if he thinks they’ll be able to have a women’s match in Saudi Arabia at some point.

The original plan was for the show to open with Rey Mysterio vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, but there was a lot of shuffling of segments in the last few hours prior to the show.

The Undertaker promo was always set in stone to close the broadcast, although it was planned to be much longer, but time was cut as the show ran long.

WWE also cut time for the Mysterio vs. Nakamura match, as well as Mysterio's entrance.

The Miz match was always scheduled to go three seconds.

Several backstage segments were cut from the show, including one with James Ellsworth, who instead shot a segment for WWE's YouTube segment.

The R-Truth segment was originally slated for later in the show.

At one point, there was talk of bringing in Christian but we have not heard he was there.

Kane was supposed to be at the taping but was not there. Obviously, he has lots of duties elsewhere these days.

Zack Ryder was backstage but not used.

However, as reported by The Mirror, Triple H is still hesitant to host a WrestleMania in the UK, primarily because of the misconception that the 1992 SummerSlam was a success.

"The time zones are the big kicker - we have to go where the most people can watch," said Triple H. "I always hear about Wembley, I always hear it was such a massive success: It was not. From a business standpoint, it was not. That's why we didn't come back and that's why we're still trying to figure it out."
