Velvet Buzzsaw... half way through and I'm starting to think that Nightcrawler was great by mistake.
Rene Russo is the wrong choice for this film, Zawe Ashton was exposed as out of her depth in broad British comedies years ago and it is appallingly apparent how little she offers in a big budget Netflix film when you see her acting alongside everyone here. Toni Collette should have been given the Russo role, Rene Russo wasn't cool in the 90's when she actually had a name so this "Rene-sance" being forced down our throats makes no sense commercially nor in terms of drawing an audience.

It's asking a lot of Jake G to pull this movie out of its own arse.

I may well stop watching this. It is very poor.
