Meltzer is a dumbass. He doesn't see any potential for a great Cody vs Goldy build? They have so much stuff to use with Goldust's fucked up life, Cody/Dusty never really giving Goldy is due appreciation/respect, etc. It could get very emotional and very "meaty". Tag Team wrestling is fucking dead. WWE has always been a singles star focused promotion anyway. Cody vs Goldy makes a shitload more sense and money for them and WWE than doing Rhodes Bros. vs ___________ Part XVIII at WrestleMania.
