As noted earlier today, it appears that Mahal may still be champion when WWE tours India in December as he's scheduled to defend his title against Kevin Owens at those two shows.

While doing media in India, Mahal appeared on the set of WWE Sunday Dhamaal (the company's weekly Hindi-language program) to reveal that Kevin Owens would be challenging him for the WWE Championship on the two house shows. Mahal defending against a heel would seem to indicate that he'll be presented as a complete babyface in the country.

The shows will take place at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on December 8th and 9th. Mahal, the Singh Brothers, and Owens will be appearing at them despite it being a Raw-branded tour. Others who have been advertised for the events are Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman, Alexa Bliss, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, The Miz, Sasha Banks, and Bayley.

There has been some talk that WWE had been interested in Rayne since mid-July, when she was backstage at a WWE taping in Nashville, TN.

Rayne quietly departed TNA a few months ago, we are told. It happened so quietly, we never heard about it. She had been working in the creative end of the Knockouts division prior to the Anthem purchase of the company.

Other names spotted recently at the PC include Serena Deeb and Austin Aries.

They are already deviating from the original version of the match in that it will feature three teams.

The Young Bucks & Kenny Omega defeated The Kingdom to retain the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team titles ...

After it was over, all of the "Being the Elite" crew celebrated the victory as Omega grabbed the mic. A "Jimmy Jacobs" chant started and The Elite said what's up to him.

Omega talked about how shocked he was at the reception he got tonight. He said he was only suppose to work the Global Wars tour show in Chicago, but supply and demand takes precedence and he goes where he's needed and wanted. Matt Jackson took the mic and mentioned the Bullet Club "invasion" of Raw to a huge pop. He talked about having the freedom to do what he wants and said he won’t get fired for taking a selfie with a friend or fan.

Matt mentioned how we help feed their families before Nick interrupted to say that they'll see their families on Christmas, referencing WWE having Raw live on Christmas this year. That drew a huge "F*ck Vince" chant. Matt said Vince McMahon takes fun away from fans and told the fans to tell Vince what we think -- with the entire audience giving a Too Sweet.

Omega quoted the movie "Braveheart" about never taking away their freedom, then he said goodbye and goodnight to the audience. The Bullet Club's music played and they jumped into the crowd to end the show.

"I think with the ability I have, and the influence I've attained, it's the natural place for me," Naito said. "You heard it in the reaction last night, and the reactions all over the country. There is an option built into the contract that would renew, and most expect that it will be renewed, given that Lesnar will be 41 next summer and that’s simply not the age you sign a three-year contract and turn your back on WWE. And Lesnar’s programs with Goldberg, Joe and Strowman jump started the main event scene at two different times that ratings were in the toilet and things were kind of blah. WWE does have certain rights to Lesnar that, if a new deal isn’t signed, will go through the first week of August. The entire dynamic has changed in the sense the Jon Jones fight would have been so lucrative that Lesnar would have let his contract expire, signed with fight Jones, and then, after the fight, probably returned to WWE. But that fight is off, and unless Jones gets a one-year suspension out of all this, it will probably never happen. The feeling across the board right now is that Jones vs. Lesnar will never happen. If Lesnar does want to do another UFC fight, if they wait until August, that would be the cleanest way to do so in the sense WWE would have no rights to him. One thing is that Lesnar evidently felt the deal last year, where he wrestled through Mania and fought in early July, left him too little time to get into top shape. It worked out because he won, but he would rather have a four month window as far as getting back into that kind of shape before a training camp, so if he did want to fight next year and the opportunity came up, he really wouldn’t want to do so until August anyway, so that explains why White said that date. Plus, those inside say that even though WWE is repped by WME IMG, the owners of UFC, that things aren’t smooth. White has said he has a good business relationship with HHH, but it’s more difficult with Vince.

Some other sheet news includes:
  • Based on fan reports, The Young Bucks debuted a new chant and hand sign during ROH Global Wars: Buffalo show called the "One Sweet." Its pretty much just making the number one sign with your finger.
  • WWE recently added a new collection series to the WWE Network called "New to the Network" which is basically curated new programmed added each week to the Network.
  • Sports Illustrated had a recent interview with Joey Ryan talking about how much money he makes in the WWE, if his character could even work in PG Era WWE, and his status in Lucha Underground. http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/...racter-in-wwe/
  • Facebook recently held an interview with Triple H talking about if he will wrestle again, his relationship with The Rock, and possible plans for a match against The Rock in the future. http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/...-wrestlemania/
