1) Ubisoft announced Far Cry Primal will not have any co-op or multiplayer features and revealed the specs for the PC version of the game.

2) Sony's CEO Kaz Hirai announced around 100 games are currently in development for the Playstation VR headset although was vague on the split between VR exclusive, VR support tacked on to existing games, etc.

3) Update to the Oculus Rift $599 price tag as Oculus VR boss Palmer Lucky admitted he messed up implying previously the final price would be in the $350 range since he only gave it as an example of the Rift being cheaper than the $1500 that was being reported at the time. Also stated the company did a bad job explaining why dev kits being cheap didn't mean the final version itself would have the same price or be cheaper.

4) According to a report by Famitsu, 2015 ended up hitting a record low for Japan in terms of the gaming industry with roughly an overall 13% drop in revenues/value, 8.5% drop in console sales, and a 16% drop in game software sales. Wii U sales ended up being 820k and not 80k due to a mess up by VGChartz either due to a typo or with the data translations.
