Only played AC, Brotherhood, and Revelations but had a great time despite also feeling fatigued from the series gameplay by Revelations.

Never felt the urge to play any other games in the series either due not liking stuff about certain games or lost interest in Ubisoft's style of open world games these days.
As a general rule I don't like open world games. This is why I'm curious if the rest of the series does something interesting with the concept. I was able to get through Borderlands because of how hilarious it is. I mean, come on; it's got a little girl holding a tea party for a guy with the intention of blowing him up. What's not to love?
