Orton, who has a history of shoulder problems dating back to early in his career, had been working of late on a bad shoulder, but not so bad that he couldn't wrestle. But in taking out the garbage to the curb this past week, the shoulder dislocated and he was in tremendous pain. It took three hours to pop it back into place. He was to have an MRI done to find out the extent of the damage, and if he may need surgery, so his prognosis is not determined.

He said they are offering full medical and retirement packages to the wrestlers. There has been talk of Shane Douglas being involved in a promotion like that going back several years, but nothing has ever transpired. Roberts said that it starts in December and that he, Terry Funk, Douglas and Tommy Dreamer would be training the wrestlers in old school wrestling. Roberts said he was getting another operation on his hip, and then he would move to Las Vegas to work with the promotion. Hopefully Jake Roberts has really mentally turned his life around, because Roberts in Las Vegas full-time and away from DDP would have me worried.

There has at least been talk of starting out with a live special, and there has also been talk of moving the show to Tuesday and going live. It would increase costs somewhat. Live on Thursday wouldn't make as much sense as that would be a huge cost increase, plus be somewhat worse for talent. The office would have to fly out to a new city twice a week instead of once. So that's why if it does go live, Tuesday would seem to work best. You can look at the live vs. taped numbers for Raw the few times a year it is taped, and the occasional live Smackdown specials, not to mention the few live TNA shows and the ratings never show a difference. We haven't heard that's a sure thing, but do know WWE was looking at major changes come January, including some being worked on and not finalized.

At the house shows, when they play the WrestleMania 31 video, in most arenas, Rousey has been getting a bigger reaction than anyone, even The Rock. At one point Rousey was talked about as far as shooting an angle at Hell in a Cell, but with Mania seemingly out (the last time she was asked, she did tease the idea that she could do it by flying in and out of Indonesia, where she'll be at that time next year, saying it's wrestling and it's best not to tell you now) and being so close to a fight, it would seem less likely.

Basically it's remixed NXT matches with Corey Graves as a babyface announcer working with two 12-year-olds who are clearly not scripted and are weirdly entertaining going off on different trains of thoughts while watching the matches. For example, while watching one of the women from Australia wrestle, the kids start calling the woman Kangaroo woman and the kids and Graves go off on a tangent about Kangaroos. They also have kids doing interviews. Graves is said to do a real good job of holding the 30 minute show together.

The expense of the investigation will fall upon Hogan's shoulders and will only cover 6/26-8/6 of this year ... It should be noted that in at least one case (gossip reporter Nik Richie), the comments were written about online well before Hogan had ever filed his lawsuit against Gawker. The ruling goes into effect next month. Gawker has claimed they will file an appeal.

John Cena: Wrestler Set to Return to WWE to Defend US Title on Dec. 26 Cena is scheduled to defend his title against Sheamus on Dec. 26 at Madison Square Garden in New York. It is set to be his first WWE fight after Oct. 26's "Hell in a Cell" event.

Possible spoilers regarding Cena's Hell in a Cell match based on current WWE ads for his return. To be fair, WWE also has Rollins advertised as WWE champion for the Tribute to the Troops show at the end of the year since he's the current champion at the moment and doesn't guarantee he'd still be by that show.
