Andriasang is reporting this morning that Final Fantasy Dissidia Duodecim will have a premium demo available on the Playstation store today. This demo will cost users 300 Yen, and seems to take notes from Capcom's success with their Dead Rising 2 prequel/demo. The Duodecim demo will let you play a part of the story that is not in the full version of the game, and let you toy around with arcade mode against the CPU without any access to character growth or customization.

As an added bonus, players with a save file for the demo will unlock an exclusive assist-only character in the full version. This character is the ever popular and eternally dead Aerith from Final Fantasy VII.

One additional (playable?) character was revealed on top of the recent reveal of Yuna from Final Fantasy X. Prishe from FFXI appeared in a new trailer that should be available online shortly. Duodecim launches on March 3rd in Japan for the PSP.
