For a little while now, I've tried to rack my brain as to how it's possible for all 4 of Canada's Western Conference teams to make the playoffs in all 4 different series that there are(making 4 U.S. V. Canada series).

It took some effort, but I FINALLY solved that puzzle.

Now, this is based on the below pic I found on Twitter for the standings as of Nov. 20, 2018 at 10:49PM EST.

Now, for this to work, I replace Dallas with Edmonton(again, it's just hypothetical, people).

This is HOW it works.

U.S. team wins Cent. Division & plays Canadian Pacific Division team who finishes as 2nd Wild Card.

Winnipeg finishes 2nd or 3rd in Central, plays U.S team they're next to in division standings.

Canadian team finishes 1st in Pacific Division, plays U.S. team as 1st Wild Card.

Canadian team finishes either 2nd or 3rd in Pacific, plays U.S. team they're next to in division standings.

Example for above(using standings going into games scheduled for Nov. 20 & 21, 2018)

1C Nashville V. 2WC Edmonton
2C Winnipeg V. 3C Minnesota

1P Calgary V. 1WC Colorado
2P San Jose V. 3P Vancouver
