David Von Erich truly was the best of the brothers in the ring imo.

David was also great as a heel in Florida. I would've liked to have seen how he would have fared as a heel and maybe become the 4th Freebird? Him turning on his brothers in Dallas would've been huge

It's crazy how insanely over those boys were in Texas at the time. I don't think anyone else has seen the kind of popularity they had. Maybe Hogan in the 80s and JYD in Mid South.

WCCW truly was just amazing at its height from 1982-1985. their tv product was truly awesome and innovative for its time. Compare what Vince's tv product looked like in '82-'83 and then look at WCCW's TV.

WCCW was running stadium shows at Texas Stadium/Cotton Bowl with big supercards long before Wrestlemania did it.

WCCW was also using musical entrances for its wrestlers as far back as late 1981.
