The PS3 is the worst system ever made. All the potential in the world, but they couldn't make a system that survived more than five years of regular use. Plus, 90% of controllers stop working after a few years. And it cost $600 at launch. Just a shame. I would recommend skipping it because at this point you can't buy a new one, and any used or refurbished one you get will have an unknown lifespan
