And squashes might draw better if people cared about any individual team
to begin with. When everyone is competitive with everyone else, the whole draw of “competition” becomes worthless. Even if you’ve gotta lure people in to a surprise squash to start, sometimes there has to be a blowout to establish a hierarchy. If anyone is turning off WWE or just rejecting them completely, it’s not because of a lack of competitive matches. It’s because of a lack of stars. Build some fucking stars.
AEW has already established that Michael Nakazawa, Peter Avalon, Brandon Cutler and so far QT Marshall are jobbers. I don't remember the hybrid 2 winning any matches, either. So, it's getting there. They've been on tv a month or so. I'm willing to give them time to see them establish the hierarchy and keep slipping in jobber matches, like the one with Moxley and Nakazawa the other night.
