Seems there is more heat on the rumor of Orton actually considering leaving WWE for AEW once his contract expires and brings the Revival with him.

Apparently he wasn't happy Vince rejected his idea to work more with the Revival and being split up due to the Draft. Revival also appears to have seen right through WWE's tactic for how their recent pushes were handled.

Coupled with an social media post from last week that saw him tease the rumors, his contract status has been the talk of the wrestling world. As noted, Orton's deal is up in Summer 2020.

Throughout this summer, we saw Randy Orton work with The Revival during Orton's quest to become WWE Champion. We're told by multiple sources that Orton pushed to do more work with them, even going as far as pitching a faction to Vince McMahon personally. The idea fell on deaf ears and Orton and the Revival were put on different brands in the WWE draft.

The three ruffled more feathers on social media, as well.

The Revival have been involved in a contract dispute of their own. The two asked for their release earlier this year, and have subsequently had three tag team championship reigns. WWE offered them deals that landed over $500,000 individually, which were both rejected. As of now, their deals are up roughly in the spring of 2020 as well, and they've not signed new deals despite the stop and start pushes.
