That's a good point, someone like you who watches every so often should be a bit confused when you tune in, not caught up in 5 minutes.

Attitude Era gets praised for a lot of what they did great, but they don't get enough credit for constantly evolving characters. If you missed 3 straight weeks of Raw in 1998 for example, you would come back to at least 10 new things that happened in those 3 weeks you missed.

If you only watched Wrestlemnia 34 than Wrestlemania 35, the biggest changes you would wonder about is what happened to the guys from last year that were super over, Braun, Shinsuke, Rusev, Bobby Roode, Asuka, and Kevin Owens are at, since most of them are likely gonna end up on the preshow.

You are going to be surprised to see Daniel Bryan is a heel and The Miz is a face.

Other than that, what's changed? A few NXT Callups will be non factors on the show. You will see they have a women's tag title, and that most of the women are still as interchangeable as they were last year.

Brock Lesnar is still part time champ.
Seth Rollins is still a good worker.
AJ Styles is still a Babyface.
Randy Orton is still a Tweener.
The Cruiserweights still don't matter.
And what's this, a 14 years later Wrestlemania rematch with Batista and HHH, which they, I could have skipped 13 Manias and will still understand these guys fighting!

Since WWE constantly brags about being the longest episodic TV shows, they should actually make new episodes every week, not a constant replay of the same bouts for weeks on end.
