This isn't people trying to kick a fuss over endings they didn't like.
This is a feature that was promised for a game before the game came out. It was the sales pitch. And now it will show up on all but one console. This isn't a subjective 'I don't feel they delivered' thing. It was literally an announced feature that will not come for many people. It may not be as strong as the Aliens/Gearbox thing, but there's something there. Studios can't say this will be in the game, and then not do that.
