Dillinger was never as over as Ryder, but the height of his popularity was only 3 years ago, not 8 years ago like Ryder.
Ryder also had zero buildup, just showed up with the generic "here is this guy you should know and care about, oh and he is Cody's friend."
Wait til he turns on Cody by hitting him with a kendostick, then he will be "AEW'S resident Kendostickman", and they will get another old guy from the 80's to be his manager. Barry Windham should be available.
