Miami hosting the SuperBowl in 2020 knocks it out of contention for hosting WM36. Cities raise taxes to host big events like SB and WM to help pay for things and that, along with the reasoning that tourism departments would market the SB over WM until February, is why WM and the SB have never been held in the same city in the same calendar year.



Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville looking more likely as the frontrunners to host WM36 in 2020.
