I mean, he definitely does balance it out but we all would in the same situation. WWE hasn't always been utter shit and Vince isn't an immoral piece of shit 100% of the time. He seems to call out the bad shit and praise the good. He's definitely not afraid to piss people off. The Pillman episode is a good example. He calls out Vince for how he handled the announcement of his death and the Melanie interview without hesitation and won't let Bruce brush it off.

Of course, the Network show he definitely seems to toe the line more. Which is why I forgot about that show after episode one.
