Netflix is really killing it with these foreign language shows they are picking up and dubbing. Just got done watching season 1 of Ragnarok and once again came away thoroughly entertained and wanting more.

This brings me to a more interesting point though: Everyone acts like American cinema/television is the peak of entertainment or something, but over the last couple years I have found myself marveling at how much better foreign television shows are. Seems like they haven't run out of creativity like we have over here. Their settings are also more varied than ours and they rely less on big budget special effects and only use them when it makes sense. I have now watched shows from Australia, France, Norway, Finland, Germany and Turkey, among others and they are better than anything I've seen come out of the American media in years.
