According to Fightful and Fanbyte, Marty Scurll worked at NJPW's set of tapings last month for their weekly Strong series.

He did a storyline angle segment with Rocky Romero that hasn't aired yet.

Emily Pratt of Fanbyte reports Scurll did have an on-screen role at the tapings on January 22 and was involved in a post-match angle with Rocky Romero. The angle has yet to air on television.

They’re going to get buzz alright, but probably not the kind they’re looking for. And it just reeks of letting things slide because these people are all friends or whatever. I really just think fans should know his involvement beforehand, so they can choose to tune in or not.”
