1) Several former SNK developers are currently working on a new fighting game called Unholy Night: The Darkness Hunter and is currently planned to be released early 2017 for the SNES.

2) Playtonic Games announced Yooka-Laylee is currently set for an April 11, 2017 release date although the Wii U version of the game has been canceled in favor of a possible Switch version instead.

3) Telltale Games recently released a trailer for the season finale of their episodic Batman game.

4) During a recent documentary by No Clip, id Software revealed the official reason for Doom 4's cancellation was due to them feeling the game was becoming too Call of Duty-like for gameplay and less like past Doom series games. They dropped the project and favored doing a reboot of the series instead with the new Doom game as the end result.
