He's obviously had a lot of input into his own career. NXT is a different animal. It is a one-hour show that doesn't air on television and was his attempt to get over with smarks. Is it making a profit yet? I'm still not entirely sure it wasn't a giant vanity project.

When you give Triple H five hours of cable television a week; television where he is canonically an "ass-kicker," I'm not so sure he books it with long-term vision and to appease the greasy audience at Full Sail. Triple H is a "student of the game" and loves professional wrestling, but he also spews a lot of shit about the WWE style being the best and has proven to be a giant hypocrite philosophically. Is that just to tow company line? Maybe. But I wouldn't bet the farm that things automatically get better with Triple H in charge. "Savior of Pro-Wrestling" is a gimmick he is working.
