I can't remember the last time I saw a movie that tried so hard to get you to care about the characters while doing so little to develop them.
Some of the action scenes are fun, and there is a palpable tension throughout the movie, however, I felt it bogged down in the middle and wandered aimlessly toward the end.

Not a terrible movie, but it tries to take itself way more seriously than it should.

SPOILER: show Speaking of the ending, it would've been nice if this movie had one. I realize they're trying to go for the 'assumed' ending, but when your final scene depicts Liam Neeson duct-taping broken shooters to his fists in a last stand against an alpha wolf, you might as well go all the way with it. Instead, the movie ends at the last possible second before the fight ensues. Not a terrible movie, but it tries to take itself way more seriously than it should.
