Bringing up WWE in a joking fashion on a YouTube show isn't really saying WWE is their competition. Acknowldging that WWE exist is just being real and there just so happens to be material from WWE that is easy to make fun of.
Obviously WWE is anyone's competition when it comes to pro wrestling but their point about it not being competition is that they are going to do their thing and let WWE counter. That will be tested once they get on TV, but WWE is the standard for pro wrestling and if you are trying to draw in people that are sick off WWE than making fun of them is good marketing.
