In asking around, we are told there are no current plans for a Slammy Awards in 2016 on any platform but the idea could always be revived sometime next year.

During an appearance on "Talking Smack" last night on the WWE Network, Styles stated that he felt he could go if necessary. Obviously, WWE is holding him out of action to prevent further injury while he is healing.

The 12/26 MSG event will feature Styles defending against John Cena and Dean Ambrose in what is also Cena's scheduled return to the company after taking a hiatus to work on his "American Grit" reality series for FOX.

It does not come from a place of malice, spite, or gloating. It comes from a place of joy and a place of happiness. We have a very strong sense of pride in being the Black People simultaneously holding championships in WWE. Historically in our nation, there was period in time where this would not have happened, followed by a long period of time where it became possible, but had not actually materialized. Now, we are in the time in which the possibility has become a reality.

Why does this matter?

It matters because even though it is hard for some to fathom, the fact is that there are many people who feel as though it is impossible to attain certain goals because of the color of their skin. This is why we must acknowledge the color of ours in this instance. It is important for people of all races, but particularly people of color, and especially the youth, to see that it is entirely possible to achieve your dreams and aspirations regardless of your race. We are a shining example who want to be a source of motivation for others to believe in themselves and do the same.

Excellence is not the same as supremacy. #BlackExcellence is not meant to be divisive. For even if you do not fall into the specific category, you can still take enjoyment in our pride, because in the biggest picture, in a society that often focuses on the negative aspects of race relations, what has transpired with the 5 of us speaks positively to the progress we've made as a nation.

OTT: The Dream Before Christmas will take place on December 17th but will stream as a FloSlam World Premiere on December 28th. The show will be headlined by the next match in the rivalry between Ricochet and Will Ospreay. The two high flyers previously faced off in EVOLVE, NJPW, and PWG, with their Best of the Super Juniors match in particular drawing online attention.

FloSlam will also debut OTT's Invasion Belfast show as a World Premiere on December 29th. That event will take place on December 18th before it comes to the service.

Both OTT shows will stream live at 8:30 p.m. ET and will be available for unlimited viewing as part of the FloSlam library.

PWInsider.com can independently confirm that report and confirm that discussions between the two sides began last Monday 12/5.

We are told that Jarrett has been specifically meeting and talking with Anthem's Ed Nordholm, who is now overseeing the day to day operations of the company. Jarrett has not been at TNA HQ and we are told that the pair went out of their way to meet in secret for "exploratory discussions." We are told that the discussions took place partially so that Nordholm could get more of a background on TNA and different aspects of how the company operated over different time periods.

Pollock reported that there is no agreement at this time for Jarrett to return to the company that he helped found with his father Jerry. As of this morning, that is indeed true.

However, we are told that that should Jarrett return in some form to TNA, whether it be as a performer or in a management style role, that his fledgling Global Force Wrestling promotion would still be an active, viable component of any relationship that comes out of the discussions.
Being speculated TNA's new owners might use the GFW name as a way to rebrand the company and possibly have Jeff Jarrett help on the Creative side of the company.
