Gabert said the contract was sent to her in the mail after being asked by someone in WWE to be patient following the tournament. She traveled to Orlando for an NXT dark match and to have medicals done, then eventually visited Dr. Joseph Maroon in Pittsburgh to be examined.

Maroon found that she had something wrong with her neck and scheduled an MRI, which revealed that she had three herniated discs in her neck. Gabert also said that the bones were "all over the place."

"Of course they sent the results to the WWE doctor," Gabert said. "And then the WWE doctor contacted me and they said to me, 'We're really sorry Jazz, but we cannot give you our clearance and you are disqualified and you cannot work for WWE.'"

I don't know about you, but traveling within the U.S., I've never brought a passport or needed one. The promotion recorded the call and will be playing it either on a podcast or at the show tonight. But they wanted everyone to know ahead of time that Vicious won't be appearing as advertised.

Sid claimed The Donald's travel ban prevented him from boarding his flight to Cleveland this morning because of an unpaid speeding ticket and he claimed this is new government policy since he didn't have his passport even though he was traveling within the United States and is a United States Citizen. We recorded his cancelation call just so there is proof of all this and we we will do our best to play the audio tonight or on a future episode of our podcast.

We apologize to all of the fans who were excited to meet Sid tonight and unfortunately this is something 100% out of our control. We invested quite a bit of money in this appearance and we have now lost out on close to $1,000 we will never get back on airline tickets, hotels, and merchandise we had made for Sid.

We are going to try and do our best to find a replacement and plan on spending the rest of the day making phone calls and trying to get somebody there to replace Sid.
From the promoter's side of the story involving Sid.

Some other sheet news includes:
  • Besides Omega and Woods, WWE's Jack Gallagher also gave a Top 10 games list for website Giantbomb. https://www.giantbomb.com/articles/j...017/1100-5662/
  • For those interested, John Pollock and Wai Ting recently released their Christmas episode of their new Post-Wrestling podcast show for free. https://www.f4wonline.com/punch-out/...estling-248901
  • WWE currently rumored to be raising ticket prices on house show merchandise based on a recent show in Pittsburgh had shirts going for $40.
  • WWE's official website recently released a list of their Top 10 Underrated Matches of 2017. http://www.wwe.com/article/10-most-u...atches-of-2017
  • In a "WWE Did You Know" type fact, today is the 19th anniversary of Mick Foley defeating The Rock to win the WWF Championship. WWE taped that week's episode and later aired it on January 4th, 1999 which is infamous for both WCW's attempt at spoiling the results and the Fingerpoke of Doom incident. Both hurt WCW more than it helped since 600k+ viewers switched to watch WWF and Hogan getting the WCW title back is seen as the turning point of the Monday Night Wars.
  • Recent episode of With Spandex Podcast show had Braun Strowman as the guest talking about being thrown in a garbage truck at TLC 2017 and lack of time in NXT before getting promoted to RAW. http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/...ck-at-wwe-tlc/
  • Rumor going around the net is Taker will be wrestling at next year's Mania with the opponent to be revealed during the RAW 25th anniversary show. Supposedly he's been in very good shape compared to last year and WWE still refuses to consider him as officially retired. Source of the rumor could also be completely lying since it mentioned he already had hip surgery when other more reliable sheet sources said the surgery is a career ending type.
