* A new "Gamer's Lawsuit" class-action lawsuit was recently filed against Microsoft over their on-going attempt to purchase Activision Blizzard. This new lawsuit is an amended version of their original lawsuit that was filed this past January but dismissed this past March due to the presiding court ruling that "The Complaint does not plausibly allege the merger creates a reasonable probability of anticompetitive effects in any relevant market." This new lawsuit reportedly claims to contain redacted documents from Microsoft’s board of directors and also recent statements from Sony over their objections to MS's purchase attempt as part of their claims why MS should not be legally allowed to buy AB. MS recently responded to the new amended lawsuit stating that those involved “waited 11 months after the transaction was announced to file their lawsuit, and then wasted several additional months filing an implausible complaint."
