Oh man...... hard to rate this. I 100% never finished it because I don't think I quite paid attention how I should have and never made it past driving the forklift on the docks.


Running around town was a ton of fun, and when I learned you could unlock older Sega games in the arcade that was very cool.


I think they started something here with Shenmue. A more "real living world" or whatever, where you didn't necessarily have to go do the main quest. You could stop to do a ton of things, for fun, at your leisure.


My memory is probably serving me wrong, but didn't you have to go to bed after a certain time of day? That would be my only negative about it..... I do not like time constraints at all.

I'd like to see more games which are "open" or semi-open to go this way. I'd LOVE to have a game with a real arcade in it with older titles, or games from whatever they could secure I guess.


Never played other Shenume titles.
