There’s definitely something missing from wrestling that is a bunch of normal-looking dudes doing acrobatics. It’s got a much narrower scope. You’re watching for that particular thing which only ticks certain boxes.

WWE has gotten some views out of me from just being more sensible than AEW lately. How terrible it is coupled with how much denial there is around that has eased up my cynicism about WWE. Triple H taking over creative has wiped away a few potential issues there too. But there’s been so much damage over the years. I’m still wrestling obsessed but with nowhere to channel it but the past.

Honestly, if WWE just keeps it simple and cohesive, they will probably start reaping the rewards from me by default. I’m half-way looking forward to Clash at the Castle.
