During an interview with GamePro, Yoshinori Ono says one of his plans for the future of the Street Fighter franchise is to make a game that is completely customizable beyond just a create-a-character found in other fighters.

Quote:
"What I'd love to do someday, if possible, is taking these characters -- like Ryu, Chun-Li, Abel, and Juri -- and having a game where users could customize them to a high degree," Ono said. "I'm not talking about their costumes or something like that, but actually customizing what moves they use -- the timing of them, their strengths, their weaknesses -- so that my Ryu could be completely different from your Ryu. In addition to our skill sets being different, our characters themselves would be different."
The customization would be based on certain rules or requirements but would give the player complete freedom in designing anything within the requirements.

His idea could have been inspired by the cancelled Mega Man Universe project that attempted to have a creatable characters and environments. Even though the project focused on Mega Man stuff, it did show off characters and stuff involving other Capcom properties.

Quick News Round-Up:

1) The free Zelda soundtrack offered as a bonus for buying and registering Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D on Club Nintendo ends tonight at midnight Pacific Time. The set itself won't be shipped until around July 14.

2) New hacking attack expected to hit PSN in the near future and is also expected to be much bigger than the first PSN attack. A group called "Unknown" promised the attack is only meant for Sony itself while PSN accounts will be left alone unlike during LulzSec's attack.

3) Ubisoft is planning to have Ghost Recon Future Solider beta to occur around a vague "Q1 2012" date or at least between January - March 2012. The beta is exclusive to Xbox 360 users and Splinter Cell Conviction pre-order owners will still have their spot available in the beta.
