The way WWE handled his hiring was really odd.

They tossed him right into a lead commentator role despite him lacking experience calling wrestling shows and didn't even bother to ease him into the role by having him work their lower tier brands first.

Compared to his first week, Virk did seem like he was slowly getting more comfortable in the booth but still was someone who shouldn't have been a lead commentator since it didn't fit his commentating style. He would have been way better off doing WWE Backstage had that show still existed.
