It Comes At Night (2017) - 1/5

I watched this due to good reviews, I have no idea how they procured money to shoot this much less any good reviews. The story is that it's the end of the world, nobody knows much other than people are getting sick and you need to stay away from everyone because you don't know who has "it". A family has stowed themselves away in the woods and comes upon another family who needs help. They join forces and survive fine until it all goes to shit in the end. There is a constant allusion to "something" some "foce" that I guess "comes at night"... but you never see it any it doesn't play as aggressive a role in the film as you'd think. I can't believe I made it to the end of the movie, I kept expecting some kind of cool payoff that would make sense but there wasn't anything. The lead character literally shoots a baby boy and his mother, like that is the arch of this movie. Horrible.
