They would have to create a new name if a secondary title was introduced as I don't think "Women's United States Championship"/"Women's Intercontinental Championship" would work.

You would probably get people complaining and claiming that "throwing "Women's" in-front of male exclusive things isn't equality" or whatever. An entirely new name would be needed as it also wouldn't look like the WWE were being lazy and just trying to score cheap equality points.

They would probably call it the "WWE Revolution Championship" or something. They don't seem to be so great with names these days.

It's been around a year and a half now and the Universal Championship still sounds slightly "meh".
