Old school booking would have also not had the title change hands on a count out unless it were a highly publicized stip beforehand as part of the build to STOP the clearly heel cowardly champ from trying to escape.

Also, technically, Asuka and Kairi were still heels, so Kairi turning on Asuka would have been a face turn.

In any case, it was all lame all the way around.
