No details yet on the deal and whether former employees are getting what they are owed, but in terms of the game, it's getting finished.
Meanwhile, it still leaves many former employees of TTG trying to find some way to support their families, not to mention these employees will likely be in the same boat unless Skybound feels really magnanimous and miraculously keeps them all on board in full or part-time positions.

Now I realize it's probably only another small fraction of the employees but I can't help but think the folks that worked on TFtB would be a great fit for Gearbox to hire to fill some vacancies in working on Borderlands 3.
