Dallas and Rich Bocchini, who are having the times of their lives in Japan this week, will be doing the announcing. The thing with Dragon Gate historically is that it has always been the group in the last 15 years that is years ahead stylistically, so if you want to see what pro wrestling may look like in 2025 or so, this may be a good look. The main event result, if Ben K wins, would also at least open the door for talks for Pac in AEW.

"I haven't been asked about CM Punk [by the Executive Vice Presidents]. Do we need him? No. Would it be a huge pop to get him? Yes. I don't know what his attitude or mindset is, but I think our roster is jam packed right now. We're not looking to headhunt WWE. We never were. We don't want to be WCW in 98 or IMPACT in 2011 where you're just bringing in old WWE guys. We have a lot of young guys. WWE doesn't have 23-year-old kids. They put them in NXT and five years later, they come up. We wanted to focus on the younger demographic. The teenage heartthrobs that they used to have in every wrestling territory."

Jericho specifically mentioned MJF and Jungle Boy as young talent who can capture the "teenage heartthrob" demographic.

When asked about the women's division, Jericho had one talent at the top of his list of who he would like to see in AEW.

"There's a lot of great women performers out there. There's a couple we have our eyes on that are working for other companies. Tessa Blanchard. She's a killer. She's amazing. From WWE, you can't go wrong with Charlotte. Becky Lynch is great too. But if you're talking about someone we might be able to get, Tessa is someone we might be able [to sign]."

Blanchard is currently signed to IMPACT Wrestling. Her father, Tully Blanchard, recently signed on with AEW to be the "executive advisor" of Shawn Spears.
