However, about an hour before the show went on the air, the decision was made to pull Kingston from the main event and replace him with Big E. We are told all the changes were Vince McMahon calls.

Originally, the Summerslam card was to have featured Roman Reigns against Daniel Bryan, but the word making the rounds at TV last night was that the bout will likely be dropped in order to let the current storyline play out.

The Daniel Bryan career announcement has also appeared to have been dropped, unless WWE decides to work that back into a storyline. There was zero mention of it last night backstage.

Last night's Smackdown ended with a reveal that Rowan was responsible for the attacks on Roman Reigns, but we are told that may not be 100% set in stone as other ideas have been pitched. Reigns is slated to wrestle Daniel Bryan on a TON of live events coming out of Summerslam.

“Shawn [Michaels] and I talk about this all the time: I think, in some ways [I] get more out of what I’m doing now than I did in my career where it was just about me -- now it’s, the ability… For me to sit in gorilla and watch kids realize their dream and their passion and have that light bulb moment or whatever that is or see their success, know how much they poured their heart and soul into it and have that success. To see you [Josiah Williams] go out there and tear it up -- knowing how that all came to be. Those are just really cool moments and I think that’s the passion now so to me, 50 is just a number.” He explained.

"Fortunately, there is no problem in fighting in New Japan while belonging to an American organization (AEW). In the future, I can always show up in Japan."

He indicated that he wanted to wrestle on the Tokyo Dome shows next January when New Japan will stage back-to-back cards at the venue on January 4th and 5th.

Regarding any future opponents he would like to face, Moxley said he wants to have a match with Minoru Suzuki along with other wrestlers with new and unique styles.
