NXT title match was great.

That might have been the first time no title changes happened at a TakeOver show.

TakeOver 31 was very good overall and would put it in the upper tier but not greatness tier for TakeOver shows. Only real negative was if this really was meant to be the start of a new era for the brand, the show didn't really feel like it in terms of ring stuff and booking. Like Ridge Holland beating up Adam Cole just took away some of the spotlight from a great match Finn and Kyle had just finished and doesn't scream "new era" style moment.
