Kotaku had a preview for the upcoming Duke Nukem game and ended up with both bad and good feelings from the experience.

If compared to modern shooters, the game itself feels very shallow and "bare" against what people are used to Halo and CoD type games for gameplay. The game stands out a lot compared to current shooters (including Bulletstorm).

Their main complaint ended up being stiff animations and bland controls.

If compared to classic style Duke Nukem and the tone of the series, the game itself is very fun and true to its roots. It also keeps the action well and over-the-top like in the previous games of the series.

EA trying one last attempt to salvage the disaster of their horrible last quarter by announcing NBA Jam will arrive on the iPhone in the near future.

The mess EA did with NBA Jam managed to upset a lot of people and might have killed off the revival of Jam as a franchise. Also confirmed to kill off any chance of sales picking up for Xbox 360 and PS3 (and Wii) with the new cheaper iPhone version.
