Watched the RAW after WM XIV on the Network last night. Rock had the IC belt with a purple strap and Vince presented Austin a new WWF Championship belt with a royal blue strap.

I remember reading somewhere that over time, as guys would get sweat on the IC belt c.1998 design it caused it to turn from purple to appearing black.
