There are still real consequences in this film, with more likely to come in the next so they can reset the roster. Downey and Evans won't play their characters forever, and their arcs likely come to an end next film. Same could be said of Thor. The snapping stuff will likely be negated but I do think we'll still get concrete losses in the next film that affect the universe as it goes forward.
