A few interesting things to think about regarding the 10/28 Evolution PPV: With the show be taking place in Long Island, NY, Monday Night Raw the next day is scheduled for Charlotte, NC. Traditionally, WWE holds PPVs in the same region as that week's TV to keep travel to a minimum, which won't be the case here. The next day, there will be a lot of production staff and wrestlers rushing from point A to point B. It should also be interesting to see if WWE decides to scale down the PPV show to use a smaller production model in order to allow the regular sets and production set-up staff to be in Charlotte to insure the usual set-up time for Raw. It's nearly an 11 hour drive with minimal traffic from Long Island to Charlotte, so the usual breakdown and set up for the next town schedule might not apply.

It is great they are promoting an all women’s show, but they have also entered a business agreement where they are heavily profiting from a Government that outright banishes female involvement on the shows.

Post Wrestling's John Pollock on the PR mess WWE is going to have going forward with the Saudi shows and the feeling of the all-women event only being done to lessen the backlash against them.

The Hollywood Reporter has a story here about HBO signing Bill Simmons to a new deal. It was noted that HBO's Andre the Giant documentary, which Simmons prodcued, was the most-watched documentary in HBO Sports history with nearly 7 million viewers across the network's linear and digital platforms.
